This program will count files and directories in a directory structure
according to their file extension. It can be very useful if you need to
create a manifest of what files are in a directory structure so you can
analyze what to do with them. FileCount recognizes over 500 file extensions
and will provide a description of each one it recognizes. The program
requires a Java Run-time Environment from JDK 1.3 or higher be installed
on your system and that you have access to Microsoft Excel 97 or later
to work with some of the files it uses and produces. Comes with User's
Guide and Programmer's Guide in HTML format.
